Support
Something not working, or a question the app doesn’t answer? Email support@tayla.app and a real person will read it. Include your device model and iOS version if it’s a bug, and roughly when it happened — that usually saves a round trip.
Tayla is made by one person. Replies are not instant, but every message gets one.
Your body photo
My photo was rejected
Tayla checks a photo before accepting it, because a photo that can’t produce a good try-on is better caught immediately than after you’ve waited. The message tells you what was wrong. The usual causes are a photo that isn’t head-to-toe, a body that’s partly out of frame or obscured, more than one person in the shot, or lighting too dim to work with.
What works best: stand facing the camera, full body in frame from head to feet, reasonably plain background, fitted clothing rather than a coat. You only need to do this once.
Can I change my photo later?
Yes. In Profile you can swipe through your outfit slots and replace the photo in any of them, or pick which one your try-ons generate against. Changing photos doesn’t affect the measurements you’ve saved.
Try-ons
A try-on failed
Try again — a failed generation doesn’t cost you anything. Nothing is charged and no free try-on is used up unless an image is actually produced. If it fails repeatedly on the same garment, the garment image is the likely problem; try a different photo of it, or a different product link.
The product link I pasted didn’t work
Some retailers block automated reading of their pages, and some product pages don’t expose a usable image. When that happens Tayla says so and offers to let you upload a photo of the garment instead, which works just as well. A screenshot of the product page is fine.
How long does a try-on take?
Usually 20–40 seconds. You can leave the screen — Tayla sends a notification when it’s ready, if you’ve allowed them, and the result is waiting in your wardrobe either way.
Sizing
The size recommendation is free and always shown, on every item, whether or not you generate an image.
The recommended size seems wrong
Accuracy depends on what Tayla knows about you. Height and weight alone give a rough estimate; entering chest, waist and hips in Profile makes a real difference. You can also add a Reference Fit — a specific garment and size that fits you well — which is usually the single most useful thing you can tell it.
If a brand’s sizing is unusual and the recommendation is consistently off, tell us at support@tayla.app with the brand and product. That feedback is how the size charts get better.
Subscriptions and billing
Your first try-on image is free. After that, generating images needs Tayla Pro, which includes a free trial. Current prices and what each plan includes are shown in the app before you buy anything.
Managing or cancelling
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us, so they’re managed in your Apple account rather than in Tayla. On your iPhone open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Tayla. Cancelling there stops future renewals and keeps your access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Cancelling during a free trial stops it before you’re charged, provided you do it before the trial ends.
I paid but Tayla doesn’t know
Open Account and tap Restore purchases. This is the usual fix after reinstalling the app or signing in on a new device. If that doesn’t sort it, email us — include the Apple receipt if you have it.
Refunds
Because Apple handles payment, refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue them ourselves, but do tell us what went wrong so we can fix it.
Your account and data
Deleting your account
In the app: Account → Delete account. That removes your photos, your generated images and your profile data. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel that separately in your Apple settings, as above.
What happens to my photos
Your body photo is sent to the AI services that generate the try-on, and Tayla asks for your explicit consent before that happens the first time. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly which services, what they receive, and how long anything is kept.
Still stuck
Email support@tayla.app. If you’re reporting a bug, the most useful things to include are your device model, your iOS version, what you were doing, and what happened instead.
